This document will:
Demonstrate how the Law Library fulfills American Bar Association Accreditation Standard 601(a)(2) and provides resources that enable “the law school to carry out its program of legal education, accomplish its mission, and support scholarship and research.”
Document collection policies that have been developed under Standard 602(a), which gives the College “sufficient administrative autonomy to direct the growth and development of the law library and to control the use of its resources.”
Evidence how the Law Library is in full compliance of Standard 606(a)-(e), which spells out the requirements for a “core collection of essential materials” and materials required to “effectively support the law school’s curricular, scholarly, and service programs and objectives.”
This policy has four parts: I. Priorities, Values & Best Practices, II. Specific Criteria by Format and Jurisdiction, III. Collection Levels IV. Appendix - Databases, Textbooks & Series on Reserve.
